Vienna

Vienna was a blur of breathtaking architecture, fashionable people, and the best taxi rides.  I find myself at a loss of words when trying to describe this city.  Because we focused on Moldova so much; Marianna and I didn't research the city, or invest time into planning this part of our trip.  So we flew in, and just walked around the whole time until we literally couldn't take another step (and then we took taxis which looked like this).

So here are some photos. I am sorry I do not know the names of the buildings...

Had to keep reminding myself that I wasn't dreaming.

I loved the store sings such as this one. Each one is unique and beautiful.

There was a group of guys roller-blading on the square. They were incredibly good.  It was interesting to watch a modern "performance" contrasting the baroque architecture.  Looked almost like ice skating, especially since they had music on in the back ground.  I caught this one of them during a stopping maneuver.

Here's a video by my sister of the same guy.

P.S.  I should also note on the efficiency of German and Austrian airports.  Americans definitely have room for improvement (to say the least) when it comes to getting people through more quickly.

Yes, I couldn't believe my eyes most of the time. Our time in Vienna was a dream come true.
